Your Role
As the primary contact for air freight inquiries, you will independently manage customer accounts, prepare quotes, and oversee the entire order process. Your proactive approach will help foster strong customer relationships, drive new business, and ensure smooth operations with your friendly demeanor.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for our customers and partners in air freight.
- Manage customer accounts throughout the entire process, keeping them informed.
- Handle customer inquiries and prepare quotes independently.
- Oversee order processing from acceptance to document verification and shipment completion.
- Collaborate closely with all operational departments, sales, and especially with customers and carriers.
- Provide proactive customer support and sustainable solutions to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Develop new business opportunities, expand the portfolio of existing customers, and actively work on customer retention.
Qualifications
- Completed commercial training or a comparable qualification.
- Initial experience in customer service, preferably in the transport and logistics sector.
- Proficient in Office applications and open to learning new systems.
- Communicate with customers in a friendly and open manner.
- Strong organizational skills and good time management.
- Enjoy working in a dynamic team environment.
- Good English skills to facilitate communication with global partners.
