Air Freight Logistics Specialist

Are you looking for a challenging position in the field of air freight logistics? Lufthansa Cargo AG is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Luftfracht Expert and take on the following responsibilities:

  • Handling of air freight shipments in import and export, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Processing of special and hazardous cargo, such as dangerous goods and airmail, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Analysis and preparation of operational data to optimize logistics processes and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Serving as a customer contact person, providing exceptional service and support to clients.
  • Performing typical billing tasks, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Utilizing various internal IT systems and Office applications to streamline logistics operations.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Completed vocational training in forwarding and logistics, with practical experience in the field preferable.
  • Knowledge of customs, air security, and dangerous goods regulations.
  • Customer-oriented work approach with strong service orientation and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to work in shift schedules (morning/evening/night shifts).
  • Results-driven mindset and ability to work in a team environment.
