Grid Code Testing Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Grid Code Testing Team Lead to join our Windfarm Control Operations department within Global Project Management.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a global team of Grid Code Test Engineers, providing functional and disciplinary leadership.
  • Ensure Grid Code compliance for Wind Farm projects by performing, evaluating, and documenting Grid Code compliance tests and analyzing test data.
  • Support Grid Code compliance and Grid connection within sales and project phases.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Nordex products to rate Grid Code compliance.
  • Optimize processes within Grid Code compliance and review and support the development of internal product specifications for Grid Code compliance.
  • Regularly communicate with clients' experts to elaborate project-specific testing and solutions.

Your Profile:

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or other equivalent technical education.
  • First-hand experience in leading a team of engineers, experience in Grid Code Testing with Wind Farm projects, and experience with test cases in Grid Code Testing Procedures.
  • Good knowledge of Grid Code compliance on power plant level and software details to achieve this.
  • Experience with data analysis, tools, and automation is valuable.
  • Intercultural understanding and the ability to work collaboratively with teams across functions and geographies.
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written. Spanish and/or German is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong planning- and organizational skills, proactive, assertive, and a team player.
  • Willingness to go on business trips (5-10%).
