Health and Safety Project Manager

Vattenfall, a leading European energy company, is seeking a Health and Safety Project Manager to drive strategic initiatives and improve health and safety performance across the organization.
This role will lead a currently ongoing project, the H&S Contractor Management project, aimed at implementing a common Vattenfall H&S contractor management standard across the group.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, prepare, and align Vattenfall-wide strategic H&S initiatives, concepts, and measures of improvement that add value to the business and contribute to the overall H&S strategy and goals.
- Support and counsel Staff Function and other Business Areas in H&S matters, including incorporating initiatives into the BA Business plan to achieve H&S ambition levels.
- Act as the point of contact for Vattenfall group in matters involving H&S Contractor Management, requiring close cooperation with sustainability and procurement teams.
- Provide training on work environment matters and collaborate with safety representatives and union representatives in various forums.
- University degree in a relevant field.
- Extensive experience (at least 7-10 years) in operational safety management and Health & Safety matters.
- Proven experience as a project leader.
- Experience from supply chain management/procurement/contractor management is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English, with language skills in Swedish and/or German and/or Dutch being a plus.
