Position Overview

  • You will oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for group legal entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS and German GAAP (HGB) while maintaining timely and accurate submissions.
  • Your role will involve coordinating activities within the general ledger accounting domain as part of our Global Business Services, with a focus on consolidating, standardizing, and automating accounting functions.
  • You will provide expert guidance to stakeholders on financial matters, taking into account relevant accounting regulations.
  • Your proactive approach will be essential in optimizing accounting processes and implementing solutions for process harmonization and enhancement.
  • You will support various entities from both an accounting and process perspective across a diverse range of topics and initiatives.
  • As the primary contact for the assigned unit, you will liaise with auditors, tax advisors, authorities, and other internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Tax, or a related field, complemented by several years of relevant professional experience in accounting roles.
  • Strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting standards, with a preference for familiarity with (German) tax law.
  • Extensive experience with SAP R/3 in the FI module; additional experience in process automation is advantageous.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, a high degree of initiative, and a structured, independent work style.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with additional German language skills required for this position.
  • Demonstrated teamwork abilities, reliability, and a strong results-oriented mindset.
  • A positive attitude towards changes driven by increasing digitalization, viewing them as opportunities to contribute and share innovative ideas.
  • This position is based in Waiblingen, Germany, and relocation is necessary for applicants currently residing outside of Germany.
