Senior Manager of Financial Controlling and Business Operations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Head of Controlling and Business Services, you will oversee the financial management of our global Digital Farming operations, ensuring data-driven decision-making across controlling, procurement, and finance.

  • You and your team will be accountable for comprehensive monthly and annual financial reporting across all regions involved in the digital farming sector, preparing insightful analyses and presentations on financial performance.
  • You will spearhead the strategic development of internal reporting and accounting frameworks for Digital Farming.
  • Your role includes conducting thorough analyses of key sales and cost determinants, presenting actionable insights and recommendations to the Global Digital Farming Core Leadership Team.
  • You will manage the annual budgeting processes across various regions, encompassing business plans, cost allocations, staffing, and revenue forecasts, providing strategic insights to the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Ensuring efficient and compliant procurement operations will be a critical aspect of your responsibilities, alongside preparing annual financial statements for BASF Digital Farming GmbH.
  • As a member of the Global Digital Farming Core Leadership Team, you will represent Digital Farming within the Global Controlling Leadership Team of Agricultural Solutions, acting as a liaison for regional and country controllers to maintain a unified approach.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A university degree in business administration or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including initial leadership roles.
  • Expertise in financial controlling and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with a systematic approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication abilities in both German and English.
