Information Security Software Engineer

Position Overview:
In this role, you will be part of a global team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure, efficient, and reliable software using Java and Python within a sophisticated aerospace software environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop software that supports cybersecurity monitoring for both space and ground segment components.
- Collaborate with a highly skilled cybersecurity team to enhance your professional growth.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs, ensuring system functionality.
- Maintain high standards of code quality, organization, and automation.
- Translate customer requirements into effective software features and accurately estimate future tasks.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in Java and Python, with a solid understanding of their specifications and hands-on experience in design, development, and testing.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming and the ability to create and interpret UML class diagrams.
- Experience with development tools such as debuggers and profilers.
Desirable Experience:
- Knowledge of secure software development practices and DevSecOps.
- Familiarity with Linux command line, Git, Maven, and continuous integration processes.
- Experience in automated testing and working with RESTful APIs.
Essential Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a logical and pragmatic approach.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Java and Python programming in a Linux environment.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
