Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at CVJM-Hochschule. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties in Berlin / Mitte.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our properties, including repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and take proactive measures to prevent equipment failures.
- Manage and maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
- Provide excellent customer service to our tenants and stakeholders.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade certification or degree in a related field an asset.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities role.
- Proven track record of maintaining high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in a fast-paced environment.
