Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Automation department, managing the delivery of HVDC transmission systems and overall SCADA systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the automation part of HVDC projects from tender stage to delivery completion.
- Lead a team of engineers representing different technical disciplines.
- Ensure good interaction, coordination, and information flow between all project stakeholders.
- Manage multiple contracts with customers and sub-suppliers.
- Work closely with project directors, controllers, planners, and contract managers to manage the project and periodically report and present status and progress in review sessions.
- Travel 5 to 10 times per year, representing HITACHI ENERGY SWEDEN AB in the best of ways.
Requirements
- Background as technically proficient project manager or commercially proficient project engineer with experience from projects in the energy sector.
- Strong sense for business, comfortable with customer meetings and technical negotiations, interested in and understands contracts and a strong sense of responsibility for safety and business ethics.
- Passion for people and technology, with the ability to deliver a successful project depending on your team's and their abilities to function and collaborate in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient and fluent in English, as you will be part of an international setting where you will need to communicate with people from all over the world.
