Key Responsibilities

The Learning Consultant will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs for juvenile justice professionals. This includes developing curriculum, conducting needs assessments, and providing technical assistance to staff.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the Learning Consultant will need to have a bachelor's degree and three years of experience in training, teaching, or staff development. They will also need to have knowledge of juvenile justice policy and procedures, as well as skills in assessing training needs and developing collaborative relationships.

  • Ability to conduct literature research related to juvenile justice
  • Ability to develop lesson plans and deliver competency-based curriculum
  • Ability to provide classroom training and plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions

The Learning Consultant will be required to travel and work effectively with a team. They will also need to have extensive knowledge of the Protective Action Response Curriculum.
