Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team at adidas. As a key member of our HR Services organization, you will be responsible for the administration of our monthly payroll processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough audits of HR data, programs, and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide expert consultancy services and support to employees and the HR community on payroll-related topics.
- Handle complex inquiries and support through various channels, including ticket self-service and email.
- Execute payroll-related tasks in accordance with defined processes, timetables, and service levels, ensuring compliance with regional and local policies.
- Carry out payroll runs for relevant groups of employees and support the reconciliation of finance accounts related to payroll results.
- Match monthly posting documents in collaboration with the local data management team, payroll specialists, finance, and controlling departments.
- Provide timely reporting and generation of statements, ensuring corresponding communication to tax authorities, social insurance, and other governmental institutions.
- Monitor incoming payments from debt claims and ensure accurate account assignment of wage types in SAP-HR.
- Manage the modification of systems and processes related to payroll management to ensure correct execution of laws and compliance with company policies.
- Create user manuals and process mappings to support the implementation of new systems and processes.
- Provide input for modifications to company policies and regulations.
- Support projects and modifications of systems and processes to ensure correct execution of laws and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare training material and train the HR Services organization on payroll-related system changes.

- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in order of importance
- Good understanding of legal and tariff regulations
Requisite Education and Experience:
- University degree or commercial education
- Minimum 3 years of overall work experience within a payroll services or finance department
- Excellent command of English and German
- Experience with business computing solutions, ideally with SAP HR
- Strong knowledge of MS-Office applications
