The role of a Senior Design Specialist at Adidas involves collaborating with an international design team to create market-right products for assigned projects. This position requires a strong understanding of design principles and the ability to work effectively with marketing and development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative solutions to concepts within the assigned category or specialty area or project.
- Implement the creative vision in a product range for the category.
- Manage own creative process and execute towards given design languages within the category.
- Ensure design work adheres to the visual language of Adidas and Corporate Identity guidelines.
- Present product ideas and details with clarity.
- Facilitate efficient process and communication flow between design, marketing, and development teams.
- Properly hand over sketches into development, submitting all relevant information needed for the development process.
- Visualize ideas for products and ranges with a high degree of expertise.
- Create 3D concept representations, 3D assets, and digital product information for accurate development and decision-making.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of fashion design or industrial product design.

- Knowledge and use of Macintosh computer design software/systems (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Strong 3D skills and knowledge of virtual tools are required.
Adidas utilizes various 3D design tools, including Clo3D, Browzwear, VStitcher, and similar fashion design tools. Additionally, the company uses Rhino, Modo, ICAD Pro, or similar 3D design tools.
Requisite Education and Experience
- Bachelor degree (B.A.) from a college or university, major Design or industrial product engineering.
- 3 years of practical experience in design environment (Footwear/Apparel/Accessories - or industrial design, fashion design, or similar design-related areas).
