**About the Role**
At designface®, we are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to join our team. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for leading the procurement and supplier management function for our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives
- Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage and analyze data to inform procurement decisions
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a technical field
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in procurement and supplier management
- Experience in contracting in the aerospace or automotive sectors
- Experience with SupplyOn and/or INFOR is highly appreciated
- Excellent analysis and evaluation skills with a drive to challenge the status quo
- A strategic thinker with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgement, and strong operational focus
- Must be a proactive, open, and direct communicator who engages comfortably and credibly with all levels of the organisation
- High personal influencing and negotiation skills
- Fluent English language skills are required
