Join Skeleton Technologies as the Director of IT Operations

We are seeking a proactive and seasoned professional to spearhead the digital transformation of the world's leading Supercapacitor manufacturer. This pivotal role encompasses a comprehensive mandate across the information technology landscape, directly reporting to our Chief Operating Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Technology Direction: Provide visionary leadership in synchronizing technology initiatives with the organization's strategic goals. Formulate and articulate a clear technological vision and roadmap.

2. IT Governance Framework: Establish and uphold IT governance protocols and policies to ensure alignment of technology investments with business priorities, while maintaining stringent control over IT resources. Streamline and enhance service delivery and IT development processes to elevate internal customer satisfaction and optimize resource management.

3. Manufacturing Digitization (Industry 4.0): Stay abreast of best practices and real-world applications in manufacturing digitization. Lead initiatives to identify and exploit technological opportunities for operational efficiencies and innovative product development.

4. Infrastructure Oversight: Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and data centers, ensuring optimal availability, scalability, and security.

5. Cybersecurity Strategy: Formulate and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to safeguard the organization’s digital assets, customer information, and intellectual property. This includes managing cybersecurity tools, conducting regular assessments, and remaining vigilant to emerging threats.

6. Data Management and Analytics: Develop processes, tools, and strategies to establish and maintain a centralized, consistent repository of vital business data related to products, materials, suppliers, customers, and other critical entities within the manufacturing ecosystem. Ensure effective data management to facilitate informed decision-making and implement data governance and privacy policies.

7. Vendor and Partner Relations: Manage relationships with technology vendors and strategic partners, ensuring the organization derives maximum value from its investments while staying ahead of industry advancements.

8. Leadership of IT Team: Build and lead a high-performing IT team, focusing on recruitment, training, and professional development of IT personnel.

9. Financial Oversight: Develop and oversee the IT budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to meet business demands while managing costs effectively.

10. Regulatory Compliance: Keep informed of industry regulations and compliance requirements related to data privacy, quality standards, and environmental regulations impacting IT operations.

Qualifications:

While we understand that mastery of every aspect is not feasible, we value teamwork and collaboration at Skeleton. To thrive in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • 10-15 years of progressive experience in IT management, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated success in aligning technology strategy with business objectives and leading digital transformation projects.
  • Proven track record in leading IT teams and managing vendor partnerships.
  • Experience in IT budget oversight and cost management.
  • Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data governance.
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0, IoT, AI, and automation technologies.
  • Knowledge of IT governance frameworks and compliance with industry standards.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's or MBA preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP) are advantageous.
