Protein Biochemist as Research Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to join our R&D Analytics group at our site in Heidelberg. As a member of a young, highly motivated team of biologists and biotechnologists, you will support the development of new, protein-based drugs from early identification to late development phases.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct routine analysis, including biological activities, coagulation assays, ELISA, and other quantitative immunoassays.
- Carry out and evaluate development experiments to establish new analytical measurement methods.
- Prepare electronic laboratory reports and maintain electronic data management systems.
- Support the implementation of methods on automated high-throughput platforms.
- Assist with general laboratory organization, including ordering materials and equipment maintenance.
- Open-minded and proactive personality with strong team spirit and communication skills.
- Preferably, vocational training with a biotechnological/pharmaceutical focus or a Master's degree.
- Experience in analytical method development, particularly in protein-based biomolecules, and a general understanding of process and product impurities.
- Hands-on experience with basic analytical methods, such as protein quantification, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, and immunoassays.
- Understanding of underlying method principles and ability to apply knowledge for troubleshooting and assay improvement.
