Technical Support Specialist for Production Systems (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities:
• Execute installation, upgrades, calibration, and maintenance of Advantest testing systems in accordance with established quality standards.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various systems.
• Integrate systems and services seamlessly into the client’s operational environment.
• Install, customize, and configure system software (including Operating Systems, Tester Software, and tools) based on client specifications and Advantest guidelines.
• Address a wide range of hardware and software challenges of diverse complexity.
• Gather, assess, and relay customer requirements for potential product enhancements and new developments.
• Manage short-term projects effectively, utilizing project management methodologies to achieve results.

Your Qualifications:
• University Degree / Master / Bachelor in Electronic Engineering or equivalent technical education with practical experience.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Linux (Redhat) operating systems and IT networking is preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proven troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented, global environment.
• Capacity to work independently and thrive under pressure.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in English.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficiency in the German language.
• Experience with Python or Perl programming languages.
