OT Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled OT Security Engineer to join our team at Alpha-Engineering KG in Munich.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement group-wide standard processes, procedures, and technologies in Automation and OT areas to ensure seamless integration of different systems and technologies.
- Collaborate with site teams to maintain OT/IT Cybersecurity compliance by developing and executing cyber security procedures.
- Manage OT/IT security risk situations at assigned sites and oversee remediation measures to ensure compliance with information security requirements.
- Interact with local, regional, or global IT, OT experts at sites, external vendors, and IT Cybersecurity team to provide best practice solutions for incident response.
- Conduct internal OT assessments and audits at sites to ensure implemented security measures and documented non-compliance to information security requirements.
- Support local OT teams in patching, antivirus, backup & restore, and asset inventory controls.
- Support and perform instrument to production or lab system connectivity design and execution.
- University degree or comparable experience in automation, industrial IT, cyber security, IT with a specialization in cyber security, automation, or comparable.
- +5 years of professional experience in OT security (design, implementation, and operation) in an industrial environment.
- Advanced knowledge in OT systems and their orchestration, such as DCS, PLC, SIS, Edge, HMI, IoT, and IIoT.
- Cybersecurity certifications, e.g., IEC 62443, CISSP, GICSP, CISA, are beneficial.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluent in English and German, with other languages being an advantage.
