Employment Type: PART-TIME (days per week)
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
expondo Group is on the lookout for a seasoned In-house Legal Counsel to deliver legal expertise to senior leadership, manage external legal engagements, and ensure adherence to regulations within a Europe-focused e-commerce enterprise specializing in B2B tools and equipment. This role entails coordinating internal legal services, supervising external legal advisors, and formulating proactive legal strategies to minimize risks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with the CEO, CFO, and senior management to identify and mitigate legal risks effectively.
- Provide legal counsel in an international e-commerce context, particularly in Poland and Germany, covering areas such as Commercial Law, Data Protection, Competition Law, Corporate Law, and Employment Law.
- Oversee a portfolio of legal services and ensure their effective utilization.
- Draft, negotiate, and review contracts in English, Polish, and German.
- Stay updated on legal developments and implement necessary changes.
- Liaise with external legal resources and regulatory bodies as necessary.
- Manage the coordination and execution of legal actions when required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Provide independent legal advice to management and staff, offering practical solutions.
- Hold a Law degree and be a fully qualified attorney.
- Possess at least 3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in an international environment and within the specified legal fields.
- Expertise in e-commerce legal matters is a plus.
- Demonstrate a keen interest in diverse legal activities.
- Fluent in English and either Polish or German.
- Exhibit a meticulous, independent, structured, and reliable work ethic.
- Show a proactive approach with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
