Job Title: Technical Business Analyst

At Gen Re, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a key role in working with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and design, build, and operationalize best-in-class solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide analysis, technical design, and planning activities for business and technology initiatives, including determining project scope and objectives, performing requirements gathering and analysis, and designing high-level technical solutions.
  • Partner with cross-functional users across the globe to maintain and develop high-quality solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Provide end-user support, including business queries and requests, and provide technical assistance and cross-training to business users and other team members.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a business analyst in custom software development projects through the full life cycle.
  • Strong working knowledge of agile development principles and processes.
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical terminology, concepts, and issues to a varied audience.
