Medical Editor

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Editor to join our team at AMBOSS. As a Medical Editor, you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality, evidence-based content for our medical education platform.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our team of physician editors to develop and refine content, including practice exam questions, detailed explanations, articles, and illustrations.
- Conduct independent research to tailor content to the needs of our target audience, extracting relevant information on medical topics.
- Enhance the didactic value of content by implementing AMBOSS styles and structures.
- Become proficient in using our content management system.
- Provide and receive constructive feedback to and from team members.
- A recognized medical degree (medical doctor).
- Excellent English language skills (C1 level or equivalent; spoken and written).
- Experience with AMBOSS as a user.
- Digital literacy and fluency.
- Long-term commitment from either our Berlin or Cologne offices (or willingness to relocate).
- Completed USMLE Step 1 and/or 2CK is a plus.
- Experience with the creation of education content and/or tutoring is a plus.
