Student Role in Vehicle and Fleet Testing for ADAS Management

Position Overview:
The Mercedes-Benz Group AG stands as a leader in the automotive industry, renowned for its premium and luxury vehicles. Within our Group Research & Development division, we are at the forefront of shaping the future of automotive technology.
Department Focus:
Our team, located in the Center for Automated Driving and Active Safety, specializes in the testing of vehicles and fleets equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). We manage comprehensive vehicle planning, procurement, and technical support for test vehicles in the realm of driver assistance system innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
As a working student, you will encounter various challenges, including:
- Gaining in-depth knowledge of driver assistance systems.
- Designing and optimizing processes related to vehicle planning and technical support.
- Participating in coordination meetings and preparing necessary documentation.
- Assisting in the management of workshops and the operational readiness of test vehicles.
- Monitoring and supporting the management of ADAS vehicles.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess:
- A degree in automotive engineering, electrical engineering, business informatics, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken German and English.
- Strong skills in MS Office, Power BI/Power Query, Confluence, and Jira.
- A commitment to teamwork and the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility and an analytical mindset.
- A valid driving license (Class B) is mandatory.
