Internship in Reliability & Maintenance (m/w/d)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the planning and execution of initiatives aimed at enhancing the reliability and maintenance of technical systems within pharmaceutical and agrochemical facilities, focusing on areas such as active ingredient production, formulation, and packaging.
  • Conduct maintenance data evaluations: Gather and contextualize various data sources to derive insights (e.g., maintenance requirements, condition monitoring).
  • Support reliability and maintenance performance assessments in Bayer production facilities to pinpoint improvement opportunities and formulate action plans.
  • Contribute to the development and application of standards (technical best practices) for reliability design and optimization to ensure optimal performance of production facilities at minimal maintenance costs.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Pursuing studies in mechanical engineering, process engineering, industrial engineering, or a related technical or scientific discipline.
  • Some experience in mechanical/chemical/thermal process engineering and a desire to gain insights into machine technology from a maintenance perspective.
  • Familiarity with programming languages is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual abilities.
  • High level of initiative and dedication.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for teamwork.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German, French, or Portuguese is a plus.
