Industrial Engineering Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Industrial Engineering Specialist to join our team. This role offers the chance to contribute to innovative projects within renowned companies in the aerospace sector.

Your Responsibilities
  • Design and plan layouts for new test facilities, considering operational requirements, workflow optimization, growth needs, equipment placement, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with architects, test engineers, facility engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless execution of facility setup and expansion projects.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for the development and setup of test facilities, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for facility requirements within the test department.
  • Support the selection of optimal test locations based on operational needs.
  • Maintain detailed records of test facility development projects and regularly report on key performance metrics, project progress, and budget adherence.
Your Profile
  • Completed studies in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in industrial engineering, ideally within the aerospace or automotive industry, including exposure to greenfield and brownfield production setups.
  • Strong technical expertise in manufacturing systems, processes, and equipment, with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency enhancement.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and quality management systems.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing facility infrastructure.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret complex data, perform root cause analysis, and propose effective solutions.
  • Strong project management skills, encompassing the ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple projects simultaneously within defined timelines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and equipment vendors.
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus.
