Lead Consultant in Digital

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert leadership and strategic guidance in technology consulting within Global Trade Services (GTS) as a Lead Consultant.
- Engage collaboratively with the Tax department and Logistics to understand business requirements and develop innovative solutions that align with strategic goals.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing insights to stakeholders on best practices, technology advancements, and optimization of IT infrastructure.
- Implement and validate solutions, ensuring comprehensive documentation is maintained.
- Participate in discussions regarding escalations and formulate de-escalation strategies, selecting the most effective solutions based on project circumstances and diverse business needs.
- Recommend risk mitigation strategies and enhance customer relationships to ensure a seamless product delivery experience.
- Work in partnership with the business team to convert requirements into functional specifications.
- Conduct integration testing and offer training to various business teams on newly established processes.
- Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables to guarantee successful project execution.
Qualifications Required
- At least 5 years of experience in Global Trade Services.
- Preferably certified in SAP GTS and S/4 Hana.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Thorough understanding of GTS business processes and their alignment with organizational objectives.
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience in SAP GTS implementation, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Proficiency in system configuration, customization, and integration with SAP modules or external systems.
- Familiarity with the Export module, preferences, and compliance with export control regulations.
- Comprehensive understanding of Classic SPL Screening, HANA SPL Screening, Product Classification using Number Sets, Customs Imports Processing, and Free Trade Zone Processing.
- Knowledge of SAP HANA data structures and analytics.
