Job Title: Automation Service Engineer

Valmet GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Automation Service Engineer to join our team in Central Europe. As a key member of our Field Service team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our customers in the paper and finishing industry.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the implementation of projects related to paper and finishing machines
  • Optimize technical solutions and modernize existing systems
  • Identify automation problems and provide support in troubleshooting
  • Implement and coordinate orders
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or automation technology
  • Technical training in electrical engineering or automation technology
  • Experience in systematic troubleshooting and resolving technical faults
  • Knowledge of programming and commissioning automation systems
  • Fluent German and very good English skills
  • Strong team spirit and willingness to travel
