Role Overview: Consulting Intern, S&P Global Mobility

Team Overview: S&P Global Mobility leverages critical insights derived from automotive data to assist our clients in comprehending the current market landscape, expanding their customer base, and influencing the future of automotive mobility.

The S&P Global Mobility Consulting Services Team offers an unparalleled blend of information, insight, and expertise by converting proprietary and public data into actionable knowledge and tailoring scenario-based solutions to address our clients' most significant strategic and operational challenges.

Impact: We collaborate with leading automotive manufacturers, their suppliers, and investors, delivering essential insights and intelligence to our clientele. As a relatively small and agile team, our interns are integral to our projects, playing a crucial role in enabling us to fulfill our commitments and provide distinctive solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct analysis of automotive market trends and competitive dynamics, focusing on sales volumes and powertrain strategies, as well as emerging mobility sectors such as Mobility as a Service and Connectivity
  • Assist in forward-looking initiatives for major automotive players globally, particularly premium and luxury brands
  • Identify prospective business opportunities and challenges
  • Evaluate benchmarks and market demands
  • Support the preparation of client deliverables
Qualifications:
  • Education: Pursuing studies in business administration, economics, or industrial engineering
  • Languages: Proficiency in English is essential. Knowledge of German, Italian, or French is advantageous
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); familiarity with Access is a plus
  • Experience or enthusiasm for the automotive sector or consulting
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
  • Innovative mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Critical thinking and analytical approach to tasks
