Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Music Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching music to students in a secondary setting, using innovative and engaging methods to promote learning and creativity.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver music lessons that meet the needs of students with varying abilities and interests
  • Use technology and other resources to enhance the learning experience and promote student engagement
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and assessment strategies
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices in music education

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status at legal equivalent to the German Second State Examination with a specialization in secondary teaching
  • Fluency in German and native-level English proficiency
  • Experience in teaching music in a secondary setting
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development

We offer a competitive salary, relocation allowance, and all paperwork completed and prepared for residency/work permits. We also provide five days of additional paid sick leave in the case of an ill child, and reduced rates for school fees. Our school is committed to supporting the continuous professional development of our staff, and we offer German language courses for English speakers.
