About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Vendor Master Data Business Analyst to join our team at Hager Electro GmbH & Co. KG. As a key member of our Finance and Indirect Purchasing departments, you will play a crucial role in our Transformation Journey, focusing on Organization, Digitalization, and Harmonization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vendor Data Management: Collaborate with Finance and Purchasing teams to improve vendor data management capabilities, ensuring efficiency and added value in Finance and Purchasing, as well as supporting other functions as needed.
  • End-to-End Vendor Master Data: Work on vendor master data corrections, analysis, and cleaning, ensuring compliance with governance rules and requirements.
  • Data Governance and Compliance: Analyze and manage existing master data, ensuring adherence to compliance requirements and governance rules.
  • Coordination and Communication: Coordinate data management topics and needs with concerned departments, promoting group vendor master data governance, policies, and procedures.
  • Data Quality and Integrity: Define and develop vendor master data structures, ensuring data quality, relevance, and completeness, and implementing data quality checks and standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Purchasing, Finance, Accounting, or Controlling functions, with a focus on process improvement and data management.
  • Skills: IT mindset, data-driven approach, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge: Good knowledge of legal requirements around master data applied to companies at an international level, and proficiency in SAP MM/FI/CO, MS Office, and analytics tools.
  • Language: Fluency in English, with a local language such as French, German, Italian, Polish, or Chinese being a plus.
