Controller - Financial Analyst

Ferchau GmbH is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Controller. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for consolidating financial results, performing target-actual comparisons, and supporting the preparation of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate financial results, cost centers, and cost units in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Perform in-depth target-actual comparisons and ad-hoc analyses to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with German Commercial Code (HGB) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial forecasts and other corporate planning processes
  • Participate in the optimization of controlling processes and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Prepare regular financial reports for senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations
  • Monitor and analyze business and financial key performance indicators (KPIs)

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting/Controlling or similar qualification
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a large corporation or consulting firm
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), ideally also SAP
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Excellent German language skills and good English language skills
