Job Summary

Tata Communications Transformation Services (TCTS) is seeking a highly skilled Radio Access Network Engineer to join our team. As a RAN Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and deploying wireless networks, ensuring optimal performance and coverage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement wireless network infrastructure, including site installation and deployment.
  • Conduct RF planning and optimization to ensure optimal network performance and coverage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of wireless networks with other systems.
  • Develop and maintain detailed designs, specifications, and documentation for wireless network projects.
  • Perform site surveys and assessments to identify optimal locations for wireless network infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure and install wireless network equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for wireless network design and deployment.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in wireless network technologies, including RF planning and optimization.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in wireless network technologies.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience in wireless network design and deployment.
  • Strong understanding of RF planning and optimization principles.
  • Experience with wireless network design tools and software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Language proficiency in both German and English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Ericsson, Huawei, or Samsung radio products.
  • Knowledge of power allocation, DUS allocation, BBU allocation, and cabinet allocation.
  • Experience with MS Office, TIDE portal, APPIAN, Sitelopedia, and SAP.
