This role is responsible for driving strong product assortment and access for the Global Retail channel. The ideal candidate will assist in implementing the adidas Group Retail strategy across all relevant markets, while consulting with Market Retail organizations. Additionally, they will provide input to key projects and initiatives at HQ level, and support Market Retail organizations in optimizing pre-seasonal plans to meet evolving demand signals.
Key Accountabilities
\u2022 Support the development of the overall product merchandising strategy for the retail channel globally.
\u2022 Collaborate with the global retail team to ensure strong product assortment and access for both CS and end-to-end key account interaction models.
\u2022 Work with eCom to ensure an aligned approach to product ranges, access, and launch plans.
\u2022 Assist in interactions with markets and global BUs to drive consistent and strong product presence in retail stores across all markets.
\u2022 Provide input and participate in conversations with functional teams to influence and develop complete storytelling in retail stores aligning with product ranges.
\u2022 Build an active network and support the Global Sales Team for commercial product buy-related topics and projects.
\u2022 Assist in assigned projects in the Retail context.
\u2022 Actively contribute to collating regular feedback from markets on commercial opportunity and brand presence in terms of product-related areas, including competitor activity.
\u2022 Prepare comprehensive reports for the Product Merchandising team internally.
\u2022 Provide input to the design of and implement key merchandising reports that help evaluate business goals with global x-functional teams.
\u2022 Support a culture of sharing and adopting best practices regarding commercial product buy within the Global Sales Team and all interfacing teams.
\u2022 Contribute to gathering best business practices related to product merchandising commercial success across Markets and turn them into industry-leading tools working closely with Markets and the Global Sales Teams.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
\u2022 Advanced skills in MS Office
\u2022 Fluent in English
\u2022 Additional language is an advantage
\u2022 Good understanding of Retail Management systems
\u2022 Strong analytical skills
\u2022 Structured, organized, and process-oriented
\u2022 Attention to detail as errors in analysis will have a crucial impact on business

Qualifications
\u2022 University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience
\u2022 4+ years Merchandising Experience
