Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance and leadership to the accounting team, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a high-performing team environment and promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare and file financial statements in a timely manner, ensuring timely delivery of financial reports to meet group deadlines.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Maintain compliance with German HGB and taxation laws, ensuring the company's financial operations are in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Drive a culture of constant improvement and innovation, identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience as an audit manager, preferably from a Big 4 firm, with a strong understanding of HGB and familiarity with IFRS.
  • Skills: Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in both German and English.
