Director of Human Resources and Payroll

Position Overview:
As the Director of Human Resources and Payroll, you will play a pivotal role in our People Team, driving the international expansion of Quantum-Systems GmbH.
Your responsibilities will encompass the entire Employee Life Cycle, leading initiatives that enhance learning, performance, and development to foster an exceptional employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor for teams and managers throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, engagement, performance management, learning & development, compensation & benefits, and offboarding.
- Identify and address employee-related challenges within your business unit, independently crafting and executing effective HR strategies.
- Design, develop, and implement significant projects in Performance and Learning & Development, such as refining the annual 360° feedback process, managing employee surveys, and establishing clear career pathways.
- Contribute to the formulation of a comprehensive Learning & Development strategy aligned with the company’s goals.
- Continuously enhance existing global HR processes and policies to support company growth and improve team efficiency.
- Oversee and manage operational HR functions, including payroll, absences, and employment contracts, while assisting in the deployment of an HRIS tool.
Qualifications:
- Several years of experience as an HR business partner or HR officer, ideally within a start-up or scale-up environment, with a passion for innovative HR practices.
- Proven ability to plan, execute, and implement projects within people teams.
- Strong knowledge of performance and learning & development initiatives, along with experience using HR/people enablement tools.
- Hands-on, structured, and results-driven approach with a strong commitment to People & Culture topics.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating discretion and confidence when engaging with stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is essential.
