Finance Regulatory Reporting Lead

Job Title: Finance Regulatory Reporting, VP

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Regulatory Reporting Team, providing oversight for Prudential & Statistical Returns. As a key member of our U.S. based International Bank, you will manage a team in Munich, with support from Poland and India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of all State Street Bank Internationals Financial Regulatory Returns (including Branch network)
  • Oversight of all Management Information deliverables
  • Lead contact for Regulator queries and meetings for Regulatory Reporting
  • Lead contact for stakeholders such as Legal Entity Board, TLOD, Compliance, Treasury and Capital Management and Functional Leads
  • Project management ownership for all forthcoming regulatory deliverables including I.T transitions, Legal entity restructures and internal projects
  • Policy expertise, including interpreting and actioning guidance from ECB, German and EMEA regulators

Requirements:

  • Team management skills, including organization, planning and ability to execute on deliverables
  • Leadership qualities including mentoring, coaching and supporting the development of the team
  • Practical knowledge of accounting databases such as Oracle and regulatory software such as Regnology preferred
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Ability to deal effectively with stakeholders, in a multi-locational environment

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or similar qualification in business, economics, finance, accounting or related field
  • 10 years of experience in Regulatory Reporting, preferably ECB and or regional level
  • Proficiency in Regulatory Software, Regnology preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Products Excel, PowerPoint
