Product Manager Home Furniture

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage product lines within the Home Furniture category, overseeing the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch.
  • Identify consumer requirements and specifications, and implement them into the organization through effective product development and management.
  • Conduct market research to analyze trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities, and use this information to identify market opportunities and drive business growth.
  • Act as the Home Furniture category owner, coordinating with cross-functional teams including Design, Sales, Marketing, R&D, Quality, and Procurement to ensure alignment and effective product development.
  • Regularly review the Home Furniture product line to assess sales volume, margin, quality, and market positioning, and implement interventions as needed to drive commercial success.
  • Monitor the performance of the Home Furniture product portfolio in the market and proactively implement strategies to improve sales and profitability.

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in industrial design, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • Bring several years of professional experience as a product manager in an international environment, preferably in the consumer goods sector.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in managing global product portfolios and a strong understanding of technical and commercial aspects of product development.
  • Have a passion for lifestyle and design, and be able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Be able to work in a dynamic, results-driven environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Exhibit a structured and analytical approach to work, paired with a hands-on mentality and a willingness to take calculated risks.
  • Fluently speak English, and German language skills are a plus.
