Job Opportunity at Stadt Waiblingen

We are seeking a skilled Machinist (w/m/d) / Mechanic (w/m/d) / Locksmith (w/m/d) or Industrial / Plant Mechanic (w/m/d) / Pipe Fitter (w/m/d) to join our team at the Stadt Waiblingen wastewater treatment plant in Hegnach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various machinery and equipment
  • Operate and maintain mechanical systems and equipment
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal plant operation
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth plant operation
Requirements:
  • Completed vocational training in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical engineering, industrial mechanics)
  • Experience in a similar role is an asset, but not required
  • Valid driver's license (Class B); a Class C1 license is an advantage
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and on-call duties
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development in wastewater technology
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, self-motivation, and teamwork skills

The salary will be based on the TVöD scale, up to EG 7, depending on qualifications.
