Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machinist (w/m/d) / Mechanic (w/m/d) / Locksmith (w/m/d) or Industrial / Plant Mechanic (w/m/d) / Pipeline Mounter (w/m/d) to join our team at Stadt Waiblingen. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various machines, aggregates, and pumps in our wastewater treatment plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery
  • Operate and maintain mechanical equipment and systems
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth plant operations
Requirements:
  • Completed vocational training in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical engineering, industrial mechanics)
  • Experience in a similar role is an asset, but not required
  • Valid driver's license (Class B); Class C1 license is an advantage
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development in wastewater technology
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
