About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Kubernetes Developer to join our team at Conexus DX Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions using Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Cloud Infrastructure: Contribute to the creation of Go Lang-based modules for a private cloud Kubernetes service, resource management, and lifecycle management of relevant services in a multi-tenant environment.
  • Develop and Test Code: Write and execute unit tests, integration tests, and contribute to end-to-end tests for developed code. Engage in debugging and troubleshooting to ensure robust functionality.
  • Streamline Software Development: Assist in the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development process.
  • Ensure High-Quality Code: Participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards and ensure high-quality code delivery.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with DevOps team members, infrastructure teams, and others. Ensure that all developed services are thoroughly documented.
  • Implement Security Best Practices: Implement and uphold security best practices within the Kubernetes environment. Collaborate with security teams to address vulnerabilities and apply necessary security patches.
Requirements
  • Software Development Experience: Minimum of 5 years of software development experience, particularly in Go Lang, C/C++, or Python, with significant experience in building RESTful services. Candidates must be willing to use Go Lang exclusively for developing core components.
  • System Programming Skills: Strong system programming skills, including proficiency in low-level interactions, memory management, and performance optimisation.
  • Kubernetes Experience: Thorough knowledge of containerization and container management with Kubernetes, including packaging applications and customising deployments.
  • Database Experience: Hands-on experience with various relational and non-relational database technologies such as PostgreSQL, Kafka, Neo4J, and others.
  • CI/CD Experience: Experience with common hyperscalers like GCP and others. Ability to set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Tekton, Argo Workflows, and Argo CD, as well as hands-on experience with GitOps/IaC practices.
  • Testing Experience: Proficiency in writing and maintaining unit and integration tests and incorporating them into automated test frameworks.
Language Requirements
  • English Proficiency: Strong command of English, both spoken and written (minimum C1 level).
Preferred Skills
  • Networking Experience: Deep understanding of networking concepts, including protocols, load balancing, and security.
  • Message Bus Experience: Knowledgeable in using message bus systems like RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka for asynchronous communication in distributed systems.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficiency in German or Ukrainian, both spoken and written (minimum C1 level), is a plus.
