Job Title: Project Development Engineer - Medical Solutions

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Development Engineer to join our team at Trelleborg Sealing Solutions - Healthcare and Medical. As a Project Development Engineer, you will be responsible for initiating, securing, and implementing customer projects for our Medical Solutions division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Customer-Specific Solutions: Work with interdisciplinary project teams to create customer-specific solutions for medical products, from specification sheet creation to series production.
- Project Management: Lead project management by coordinating project teams, ensuring effective communication, and tracking project results.
- Risk Mitigation: Mitigate risks by resolving and taking into account essential market regulations such as ISO 13485 and MDR.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure full compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, including Quality Manual and Quality Procedures.
- Subject Matter Expert: Become a subject matter expert for Trelleborg Medical Solutions to provide consultative sales support to customers.
- Business Development: Position Trelleborg as the contract manufacturer of choice for current and prospective customers.
Requirements:
- Technical Background: Technical understanding, training, and/or technical studies in medical technology, biotechnology, mechanical engineering, or comparable fields.
- Structured Work Methods: Strong communication and collaboration skills, preferably with experience in a project management environment.
- Language Skills: Business fluent and technical English skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry Experience: Experience in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of injection molding, silicone molding, or extrusion.
- Quality Requirements: Familiarity with ISO 13485 quality requirements.
- Language Skills: Business fluent and technical French skills for French-speaking markets can be an advantage.
