Offshore Project Planning Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated Offshore Project Planning Specialist (m/f/d) with exceptional stakeholder engagement abilities and a methodical mindset. The ideal candidate will adeptly manage intricate relationships and execute well-organized strategies to achieve successful project results.


Region NCE > Customer Project Execution > Offshore Planning

The Customer Project Execution Department is responsible for overseeing all phases of wind farm projects, from initiation to completion. This team takes charge of a wind farm following contract finalization and remains accountable until the final assessments are conducted. This process encompasses standard installation, commissioning, and the ultimate transfer of the wind farms to our clients. Close collaboration with customers, suppliers, and various stakeholders is essential to maintain project budgets, timelines, and adherence to our rigorous safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Primavera planning for offshore initiatives during bidding and Turbine Supply Agreement discussions
  • Refine individual project timelines to meet both customer and Vestas' specifications
  • Create and assess multiple planning scenarios
  • Work closely with both internal teams and external partners
  • Ensure project schedules comply with all relevant standards and expectations
  • Modify plans to accommodate changing project demands and requirements
  • Promote effective communication and coordination throughout the planning phase
Required Qualifications
  • Thorough understanding of planning methodologies and tools, preferably Primavera P6
  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing large-scale projects
  • Background in project management roles
  • Adept at collaborating within cross-functional and multicultural teams
  • Knowledge of risk management principles
  • Proficient in English

Additional Information
Primary work location: we welcome candidates from various locations.
