Join our team at STRATO Personal GmbH as we collaborate with leading companies in the aerospace sector. We are currently seeking a dedicated Product Assurance Engineer (m/f/d) to support our esteemed client in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the adherence to Program Product Assurance and Safety standards at the project level in partnership with the Program Quality Manager (PQM).
- Provide insights and updates to the Program Quality Manager regarding process and product quality throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist Project Managers with project-specific quality and process issues.
- Evaluate and address quality incidents, offering regular quality updates and aiding the PQM in managing significant customer-related quality challenges.
- Communicate project quality status to the independent quality hierarchy and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) from initiation through to resolution.
- Participate in project evaluations as the primary contact for quality-related matters.
- Recommend process enhancements during the project duration and advocate for their integration into the Business Management System (BMS).
- Identify and execute Lessons Learned initiatives.
- Contribute to ongoing process evaluations and enhancements.
- Gather quality and performance metrics, establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and maintain effective dashboards. Engage in company-wide improvement initiatives such as Operational Excellence Systems (OES) and Smart Quality, implementing these strategies within projects.
Candidate Profile:
- Degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry.
- Proven experience in space or aerospace projects is essential.
- Familiarity with financial processes and quality management systems is advantageous.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
