Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at BTC Electronic Components. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming and outgoing products to ensure they meet the required quality standards.
- Conduct visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests on products according to established procedures.
- Verify and maintain product specifications, tolerances, and other relevant requirements as certificates and documentation.
- Identify and communicate non-conforming products and processes to the Quality Manager.
- Record and maintain inspection results and document discrepancies.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and tracking of materials and products.
- Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Arts in Quality Management or vocational qualification, as Industriemechaniker (m/f/d), Staatliche geprüfter Techniker (m/f/d).
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in quality inspection within the Aerospace industry.
- Familiarity with quality standards, specifications, and regulations relevant to Aerospace distribution.
- Proficient in the use of measurement equipment such as gauges, micrometers, and calipers.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and with other departments.
- Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work flexible hours as required.
- Fluent knowledge of English, German, and French are an advantage.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Cross-team synchronization.
- Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new circumstances.
