Role Summary
The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing diverse sales teams, including outside sales, inside sales, and channel sales, to enhance market presence and generate additional revenue from both new and existing clients. This role involves defining the sales methodology and identifying key performance indicators for sales success. The manager will also collaborate with various departments to ensure a cohesive approach to client engagement and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and prioritize the annual sales strategy to align with revenue goals, ensuring accurate sales forecasting.
- Establish strategic partnerships to expand client portfolios, focusing on retention and enhancing the client experience.
- Conduct regular business reviews with stakeholders to cultivate a robust pipeline of new business opportunities and maintain vital relationships.
- Coordinate communications to support sales objectives and meet organizational standards, fostering collaboration across departments.
- Utilize new product offerings to drive revenue growth and enhance market competitiveness.
- Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to recommend improvements in sales tactics and enhance cross-departmental alignment.
- Foster a high-performance culture by building and managing effective sales teams through recruitment, training, and talent development.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Preferred experience in a related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- A minimum of 8 years of professional experience, including 3-4 years in a leadership role.
