Job Title: Product Marketing Engineer

At Renesas Electronics, we are seeking a highly skilled Product Marketing Engineer to drive the market introduction of our next-generation Microcontrollers (MCUs). As a key member of our global team, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing market introduction plans, working closely with internal teams and customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect, define, and closely follow up on global customer requirements for our MCUs.
  • Develop and drive market introduction plans, including lead customers, market segments, and applications worldwide.
  • Ensure the availability and drive responsible departments for the complete product package, including documentation, starter kits, flyers, and software, for market introduction.
  • Produce public marketing materials, such as whitepapers, press releases, webinars, and more.
  • Work with internal marketing teams and design sections to define and follow up on roadmaps for Renesas microcontroller products.
  • Collaborate with internal support teams for Renesas products.
  • Coordinate and facilitate effective information exchange with our Renesas Headquarters in Japan.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate in Electronic Engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in product marketing in the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience in the automotive market, including Carmaker and Tier 1 requirements.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of embedded Microcontrollers and ecosystems.
  • Strong communication skills, team-oriented, and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) and German (preferable).
  • Experience with software IT infrastructure and standard PC tools (MS-Office).
  • Ideal experience in automotive system design, E/E architecture, customer negotiations, product definition, and requirement management, as well as handling complex technical RfQ's in collaboration with key customers.
