Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Reservation Agent to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our reservations team, you will be responsible for processing all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Identify guest reservation needs and determine the most suitable room type.
  • Verify availability of room types and rates, and explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
  • Accommodate and document special requests, and answer questions about property facilities and services.
  • Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue, and input and access data in the reservation system.
  • Indicate special room reservation types by inputting the correct code and rate into the reservation system.
  • Follow proper escalation procedures when addressing guest concerns.

  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Anticipate and address guests' service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation, and speak with others using clear and professional language.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals.
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
