Vehicle Loading Coordinator

About the Role:
DPDgroup is seeking a dedicated Yard Operations Coordinator to oversee the effective management and organization of vehicle loading and unloading processes. This position is ideal for individuals with a logistics background and exceptional organizational capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the placement of vehicles for loading and unloading tasks
- Implement an efficient yard management system to enhance productivity
- Prioritize loading schedules and maintain communication with relevant teams
- Supervise the positioning of transport units within the yard
- Report any issues related to damaged or empty transport units
- Document the utilization of units and coordinate with central departments
- Facilitate the return of exchange pallets to clients
- Ensure effective communication with internal teams and departments
Qualifications:
- Completed commercial training or equivalent qualifications
- Prior experience in a similar position
- Experience in the logistics sector is advantageous
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Fluency in German and proficiency in English
- Competence in Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to work shifts and weekends as required
