Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled master's student to contribute to our research team in the area of 3D scene understanding using 3D scene graphs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement learning-based, open-vocabulary 3D scene understanding using 3D scene graphs, focusing on incremental construction and fusion of 3D scene graphs.
  • Contribute to 3D scene graph prediction in areas such as architecture design, training data and loss design, model efficiency, or model application in a real-world environment.
  • Evaluate the model on open-source datasets, benchmark against state-of-the-art approaches, and demonstrate its capabilities on real-world data on a suitable robotics platform.
  • Publish research results at peer-reviewed conferences.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field with a focus on machine learning/deep learning.
  • Strong programming skills in Python or C++ and knowledge of deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, Jax, etc.).
  • Experience in deep learning, computer vision, and/or robotics.
  • An eager to learn and open-minded personality.
  • Fluency in English; German is an advantage.
