Lead Payroll Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

As a Lead Payroll Analyst, you will oversee the monthly payroll accounting for a designated group of employees, ensuring compliance with legal, collective bargaining, and company regulations. This includes all preparatory and follow-up tasks.

You will provide guidance and support to employees, managers, and internal stakeholders on payroll-related matters, social security, and payroll tax issues, as well as personnel-related topics.

In your role as a technical expert, you will serve as a primary contact within the Payroll team and for HR colleagues.

Your responsibilities will also encompass master data maintenance, statistical evaluations, and the administration of time management systems.

Administrative tasks such as creating certificates, maintaining electronic personnel files, and liaising with health insurance companies and authorities will also be part of your duties.

You will assist in the execution of payroll-related project activities.

Required Qualifications:

You should have successfully completed your (commercial) professional training, with further qualifications as a personnel specialist or payroll accountant, or possess a similar qualification.

Several years of substantial professional experience in payroll accounting are essential.

In-depth knowledge of payroll tax and social security law is crucial for this role.

Experience with payroll systems is advantageous.

A hands-on mentality, professional demeanor, and reliability are expected.

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, is required.

A very good command of written and spoken German (C1) and a good command of English is necessary.
