With our headquarters located in Laupheim, Germany, and an additional site in Milford, MA, USA, we provide comprehensive solutions that encompass bioprocess development and manufacturing, alongside consulting services such as project management and regulatory guidance. Our new venture, Rentschler ATMP Ltd. in Stevenage, UK, focuses on advancing cell and gene therapies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct experimental research in the laboratory related to downstream unit operations, including chromatography and filtration, along with relevant analytical techniques such as HPLC, cGE, ELISA, and qPCR.
- Enhance and automate laboratory processes and data analysis workflows.
- Calibrate and validate mechanistic models, optimizing downstream unit operations utilizing GoSilico software.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in bioengineering, biotechnology, bioinformatics, chemical engineering, or technical biology.
- Demonstrated motivation, effective teamwork abilities, and a knack for implementing practical solutions.
- Fundamental experience with preparative chromatography and/or filtration methods for protein purification.
- Strong interest and preferably basic experience in mechanistic modeling of downstream unit operations.
- Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C++) are advantageous.
- Availability for an internship lasting a minimum of 3 months, followed by a 6-month thesis period.
