Join Our Team as a Junior Controller

At OSB AG, we are looking for a dedicated individual to support our finance department in achieving excellence in accounting and reporting.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Finance and Controlling Manager in executing essential tasks to maintain accurate company accounting and reporting.
  • Timely preparation of monthly reports, financial forecasts, budgets, and cost calculations.
  • Oversee ongoing asset controlling in collaboration with internal departments and external partners.
  • Support the controller in developing and enhancing relevant reports and processes to meet group reporting standards.
  • Contribute to the design, testing, and implementation of SAP projects.
  • Prepare various weekly and monthly reports (e.g., volumes, sales, costs) and conduct ad hoc analyses as required by management.
  • Provide guidance to accounting on daily operations (irregular bookings, new accounts, etc.).
  • Undertake additional ad hoc tasks as needed.

Your Profile:

  • Possess a relevant high school diploma or equivalent work experience; a university degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Accounting is advantageous.
  • Have experience in accounting and controlling, with a solid understanding of HGB accounting principles; knowledge of IFRS is a plus.
  • Experience in treasury and asset accounting is preferred.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using office automation systems for accounting and controlling purposes.
  • Exhibit an independent working style complemented by analytical thinking and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Possess a hands-on approach to tasks.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken German and English; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
  • Proficient in standard office software, particularly MS Office (Excel and Access), Email, and Internet applications.
  • Familiarity with Hyperion Financial Management is desirable.
